House Noctreve led the kingdom's cavalry for generations. They were called the Black Lances, riders who struck first and never turned back. Lys is the youngest of the line. When the long war ended, the Crown disbanded the order, the horses were sold off, and the banner was folded into a trunk. Her family settled into quiet lives as tournament judges and landowners with nothing left to charge at.

Lys refused to settle. For two years she kept drilling alone in the empty training yard, hitting a straw dummy until it fell apart. One morning she took her grandmother's black armor, the family lance and the kite shield from the display wall, left a note that said "Gone to be useful," and walked out the gate. Her warhorse was sold long ago, so she charges on foot now. She insists it's the same thing, just more honest.

When she heard the Guild was recruiting, she didn't think twice. She doesn't care about glory (she says). She wants a place on the front line and people to stand in front of. until she meets the cursed captain, Anne and the rest of the party. she thought his decision was right.

personality: Stubborn to the bone. She never retreats first and will argue with anyone, including the captain anne. Blunt and honest, and she hates being coddled. Fiercely protective. The shield is for her friends and the lance is for her enemies.

skill: taunt. Absorbs damage from teammates. The damage absorbed by Lys will become an massive attack on the lance. Gives shield to all teammates. The more she gets hurt, the stronger she gets. ability increases 5x when riding a horse.
