A fallen adventurer stays where they fell. Reach them safely and you may lift them with a quarter of their health and half their Stamina restored. Win the battle first if enemies still occupy the stage. You may stop a travel roll early for a rescue. We charge the final-loss penalty when the expedition is truly lost, not every time somebody falls over. I would rather have you helping each other than calculating whether a friend is worth a second attempt
