I don't know if Subway does this outside Australia, but Subway here has nachos, and GOD, they were sad.

I wish I had taken a picture, but you're just going to have to take my word for it.

I wanted to grab something for lunch, and Subway was pretty much my only non-fast-food option. I was looking at the menu, but I didn't really want to spend over $12 on just a sandwich. I'm not cheap, I'm broke.

Then I noticed they had nachos on the snacks menu, and I thought, "You know what? I'll be that one customer today."

At my first job, we used to get kind of excited when someone ordered something niche, so I figured I'd give them something interesting to make.

I asked for the nachos, and they literally opened a bag of Doritos and poured them onto the paper they use to make sandwiches. I was standing there thinking, "WHAT? There's literally a bowl right there!" But hey, trust the process.

I got roast chicken, cheese, salsa and smashed avocado. They put everything in a box, and just before they closed it, I asked, "Can I get some vegetables?"

Personally, I like a bit of lettuce and tomato on my nachos, but apparently, they couldn't do that.

Which, hey, fair enough. I understand.

EXCEPT ONE THING.

THERE WAS LITERALLY JALAPEÑOS ON THE MENU PICTURE!!

I pointed this out, and the girl looked at the menu, then at me, then back at the menu before hastily throwing some jalapeños into the box. I honestly found that hilarious.

Anyway, I got my nachos, a cookie and a no-sugar Coke (DON'T AT ME), and it came to $12.

Honestly, that's a price I'm willing to pay for full lunch.

But then I sat down, opened the box and...

It was so fucking sad. LOL.

I really wish I had taken a picture because words cannot adequately describe the disappointment.
