Is Stable Diffusion Dead?

Not really expecting many responses to this. I keep getting asked when I'll be making an Anima model, or if I plan to make one. My answer is always the same: no, I'm not making one right now, and no, I don't have plans to.

it's been said to me a few times that "Illustrious is now like Pony, outdated and dead." and the NoobAI is on the way to becoming outdated and dead.

So, I want to know, does everyone feel that way? Is Stable Diffusion dying? Are we going towards using models like Anima instead? I don't really care for Anima. It's obtuse to use. The settings vary wildly between each model (just check the Civitai pages for each), and I've yet to use an Anima model that is an "all around" model where I don't need to specify exactly what style I want.

That's exactly why I made my own models, so I don't need to go through the pain in the ass that is getting consistent results. Illustrious and NoobAI models just work. I can use the same exact settings on 90% of them and get consistently good results.

But regardless of what I think, do people consider Illustrious or NoobAI to be dead?

Is it worth it to continue working on the models I am currently making?

Am I just wasting my time, energy, effort, and GPU trying to update Illustrious Rabbit or create entirely new NoobAI/Illustrious models?

Should I just move on and make an Anima model despite my own lack of interest in it?

Or are there still people out there who prefer Stable Diffusion models over ones like Anima?

(Anima is not Stable Diffusion based, it's an entirely different model that also uses booru tags, but is not a finetune of anything from Stability AI)

So... is Stable Diffusion dead?
