[Story] Tenjin: Origins - Chapter 6: Liberation (part 2)

1 hour later...

"No word from 'em, huh?" One guard said to another.

"Nothin'."

Then, a banging could be heard against the warehouse shutter door.

"Is that them?"

"Probably." The guard said, as he presses the button to open the door.

"Hey, what took you guys so... Long..."

The guards froze as they saw a woman... In shining silver armour, with hair and eyes that matched.

"Uhm... Can we... Surrender...?" One asked.

"Hmm... No~" Aria replied, quickly incapacitating both of them.

As a group of guards rush in, Aria swung her blade, creating lunate arcs of energy, slicing each of their guns in half.

"What the-" One of the guards said, before being smashed across the head with the hilt of Aria's blade.

Aria proceeded through the warehouse, disarming and non-fatally taking down all of the Liberatio guards with her sword, "Silver Crescent". As it's name suggests, its guard was the shape of a crescent moon.

As more guards continue to pour in, hiding in and behind shipping containers, Aria fires a beam of silver light from the tip of her blade, which easily cuts through the containers like paper.

She eventually found and freed dozens more captives, taking them outside with her, where the police were already waiting.

"Please take care of these people, and get them back to their families. Thank you." Aria asked and bowed respectfully before the officers before leaving, who just stared at her in awe.

...

Upon returning to the dragon, a crowd had now gathered around her.

"E-Excuse me...!" A woman called out.

"Ah, yes?" Aria replied politely.

"Are you the one who rescued my daughter...?"

"It was nothing, rea-"

The woman bowed deeply. "Thank you...! Thank you so much...!"

A man, the woman's husband also bows. "Y-Yes, thank you...! How can we ever repay you?"

"I simply did what someone with power should. That's all. So please, raise your heads." Aria said.
