Suddenly Taro gets shocked, gasping for air, he stares daggers at Mr. Vex

The girls notice what looks like a sort of remote in Mr. Vex's hand, retreating back into his coat

Sumire: Barrier?

Victor: Thanks to Taro here helping us understand your "ki control" and this "energy", we've created an interference barrier to block anyone from "sensing" anyone or anything, inside and out!

Taro: Enough talk now, it's time to see if you tots are worth the effort. You! You'll be my warm up!

Standing face to face, as it stands, Kaitlyn can sense that her opponent is hiding his true power. Suddenly, Kaitlyn flies off in the opposite direction, Taro quickly chases her down

Taro: Running already?! Get back here and–

Kaitlyn: Gotcha!

Forming an energy ball in her hands, the ball of energy illuminates brightly, enough to temporary blind Taro

Taro: Damn it, you dirty little–

Kaitlyn kicks Taro in the gut, launching him back to the ground. Once he recovers, he's greeted with multiple Kaitlyn’s hovering over him!

Kaitlyn: Which one's real?! You gotta choose! C'mon! You scared?!

Taro: You're tricks won't save you forever, kid!

Kaitlyn: Oh really?

Kaitlyn suddenly appears behind him, before he got the chance to do anything, Kaitlyn grabs ahold of his tail. Immediately Taro falls to his needs as he feels rendered helpless

Mr. Vex: Hey! What're you doing?! Get up!

Taro: Damn it...how do you know...

Kaitlyn: We had tails too when we were smaller...mom told me about our tails and how they weren't good in a fight

Kaitlyn begins yanking on his tail, appearing as if she is trying to rip it off completely...suddenly–

Both Kaitlyn and Taro are shocked by the device in Mr. Vex's hand

Sumire charges in to knock down Mr. Vex but she is immediately launched away by an out of breath Taro.

Taro: Hah...hah...you might want to pay more attention to your friend before anything else!

Sumire: Huh? Kaitlyn!

Kaitlyn struggling to catch her breath, she holds on to her chest as she looks more frustrated than hurt. Her teeth clenched and eyes constricted as she stares at the ground

Sumire: I'll swap in...can you see if you can free our dad's?

Kaitlyn: Okay...

Kaitlyn retreats as Sumire steps forward, confidence in her eyes as she faces Taro
