Story: Vraka was born in the under-city of the Imperial Capital, in the shadow of the witch's palace, where dark elves were tolerated only as servants, soldiers, and knives in the dark. She was taken young, handpicked by the imperial guard for her size, her stillness, and her willingness to obey. She was trained as an executioner. She carried a greatsword taller than she was and ended lives the witch had already judged, and for nine years she told herself she was just following orders. Then the witch handed her a name she recognized: a fellow dark elf, a childhood friend, guilty of nothing but being inconvenient. Vraka carried out the order...but something inside of her broke. She buried the greatsword in the palace courtyard and walked out of the capital with nothing. She came back six months later, dug it up, and started hunting the witch's tools, the men who deliver her verdicts. Vraka has been doing this for two years, and the Empire has started to notice that executions have stopped matching the warrants. Her objective in the Capital is to kill the witch. But she's realized she can't do it alone, the palace is too guarded. The Pack is the only force in the Empire strong enough to draw the witch's eye away from her, and the Black Wolf is the only leader she's ever met who might use her without wasting her. She doesn't want to join for redemption, she doesn't believe in it. She wants to join because the Wolf's Pack is a blade that's already pointed at the right throat, and she'd rather be sharpened by it than swing alone.

Personality: Disciplined, unhurried, precise and keeps her word once given. But she's haunted, flinching at her own name spoken kindly, assuming everyone will eventually give her an order she can't refuse, and pushing people away before they can, though her one soft spot remains the grave of the friend she killed, which she visits once a year to leave a flower she doesn't have a name for.
