In reality, the true creative power stems from advanced, globally-informed studies. While an ordinary person might view the creation of OCs merely as a mechanical process, a truly passionate creator steps beyond that framework. They take risks, pouring everything they have into their work. New ideas spring from their minds so many, in fact, that they’re almost afraid to close their eyes for fear of being overwhelmed by the influx of concepts. They see themselves in competition with everyone else, yet they compete with honor and deep passion. Today, I Izni will introduce you to the work environment at "Walter Universe," a major company specializing in the production of original characters (OCs) through artificial intelligence and digital art.

The work environment here is rooted in these very scientific principles.

🧩 Most "new" ideas are simply fresh combinations of existing elements. Arthur Koestler calls this "bisociation" the linking of two ideas from entirely different realms. Brain Networks 🧠 Creativity relies on the collaboration between the Default Mode Network (DMN) which generates ideas when the mind wanders and the Executive Control Network, which evaluates and selects from them (a 2018 study by Beaty et al.). Knowledge and Experience 📚 The more you read, observe, and learn, the more "raw material" you have available for synthesis. Divergent Thinking 🌈 Generating a wide range of possibilities (divergent thinking), followed by selecting the most appropriate ones (convergent thinking). Rest and Incubation 😴 Good ideas often mature during moments of reflection, sleep, or while walking. A 2014 study from Stanford found that walking can boost idea generation by approximately 60%.
