Story:

Nobunaga found his wives already standing—already flanking him, one at each arm, transformed.

The banquet silks remained, but the women inside them had changed: Kicho's fan was gone, her eyes bright with something lethal and awake; Violet Witch's smile was gone too, replaced with the stillness of a queen at war.

Violet addressed the Tenno, gracious even as violet light began to gather around her like a storm choosing its shape.

"Michiru-sama. It so happens that you have the two top-of-the-class witches in the entire country standing right here."

Her hand found Nobunaga's arm; her other hand found Kicho's shoulder. "And we will make certain of Nobunaga-kun's success. This we promise."

And with her final sentence still hanging in the air, violet mana surged—wrapping the three of them in coruscating light—and the next second, they were simply gone, gone from the ruined banquet hall in a burst of wind and rose-gold sparks, leaving silence, swirling dust, and one very startled Shogun.
