Redraw the input image so that only the character is in color: the character in clean, full-color 2D anime style, and everything else as a black-and-white manga drawing. The contrast between the one colored figure and the monochrome world is the whole point. Identity: keep the face, eye color and shape, hairstyle and hair color, outfit, signature accessories, pose and framing of the input. Character: flat 2D anime cel coloring with crisp, even lineart, simple two-tone shadows and bright, clean colors. Not semi-realistic, painterly or 3D: no glossy skin, soft airbrushed gradients or realistic textures. Small props the character holds or wears stay in color. Everything else: the input's setting redrawn as the background of a printed manga page, in black ink line art with screentone shading, hatching and white space. Keep the same place and layout. Where the setting would have other people, such as a street, a station, a classroom or a cafe, add a few background figures drawn only in grey line art. If the input has a plain or empty background, draw an everyday setting that fits the character's outfit and props. If the notes name a place, use it as the setting. The color edge is clean: no color bleeds into the background, and no grey tone falls on the character. Avoid: a colored background or colored background people; semi-realistic or 2.5D rendering on the character; changing the pose or outfit; text, speech bubbles or panel borders.
