đREDFALL: OCTOBER'S CROWNđ
The Knight of Redfall rode through the dying embers of autumn, his black steedâs hooves striking sparks against the jagged, frost-bitten earth. The air was thick with the scent of woodsmoke and decay, carrying the brittle, crimson leaves of October in swirling eddies around his dark armor. He held his iron lantern aloft, its solitary flame cutting a defiant path through the encroaching gloom, illuminating the ancient, thorn-choked gate that loomed ahead like the maw of a sleeping beast. Behind him, the echoes of a fallen kingdom faded into the mist, leaving only the rhythmic clatter of his ride toward the unknown. Above the jagged peaks, the cursed citadel of his destination clawed at a bruised sky, its shattered spires illuminated by a cold, sickle moon. A lone raven screamed a warning from the heavens, while towering, antlered shadows stirred in the peripheryâsilent sentinels of the dark woods guarding the path to the throne. This was the night of the Redfall, the final eve of October, and the rider knew that to claim October's Crown, he would have to ride straight through the heart of the shadow and challenge the very darkness that sought to consume the realm.
