The Backrooms? More like the savior for sky-high housing prices.
If I remember correctly, the Backrooms were originally studied as a way to solve the problem of insufficient space, and only later did they introduce monsters and stuff like that.
But here's the thing - who cares about monsters?
In my country, based on the median salary, if you want to buy a reasonably-priced house, you'd need "at least" a 40-year mortgage.
So seriously, who gives a damn about monsters?
If the Backrooms opened up in my country, no joke, within a month more than half the population would've immigrated in.
Fictional monsters are still way cuter than real-life monsters.
