ATLAS MECHANICAL CONSORTIUM is one of the six major independent Striker manufacturers and the company responsible for more operational Strikers than any of its competitors.

ATLAS does not attempt to build the fastest machine, the heaviest machine, or the most technologically exotic machine on the market. Its entire philosophy is based on something far less glamorous:

A Striker is only useful if it can be produced, repaired, supplied, and returned to combat.

The company traces its origins to Atlas Industrial Mobility Group, founded in 2168 as a manufacturer of construction machinery, mining frames, cargo vehicles, and standardized replacement components. Long before Strikers became military platforms, Atlas had already developed a reputation for building equipment that could operate for years with minimal specialist maintenance.

Following the emergence of military Strikers in 2178, Atlas initially entered the industry as a component supplier. Its standardized actuators, joints, power regulators, and structural assemblies were inexpensive, durable, and widely compatible with other manufacturers' machines.
