(Memory Cross) Battle at Tennoji 1

Story:

Saru Hideyoshi had been granted the honor of leading the Oda vanguard formation, and he wore the distinction like a new set of armor—chest puffed, monkey-faced grin flashing, voice carrying all the way back to the main camp.

His thousand men sat arrayed before Tennoji's main gate, trading insults with the wandering samurai party defending it in a rolling crossfire of taunts.

"Open the gate, lads! The monks need their afternoon prayers, and we're keeping them waiting!"

"Bah! A thousand Oda dogs and not one with a proper sword arm among them! Send your best—my grandmother would shame him!"

"Surrender now and we'll spare your hair, ronin! You'll want it for your next master!"

"Come and take it, saru-faced idiot! We'll see whose skull ends up on the wall!"
