This is because they are critically endangered, and there are only a few thousand left. Upon encountering a Wishing Star dragon of any type, you will be granted three wishes. Your three wishes could be anything, aside from the illegal wishes like wishing for more wishes, or wishing for permanent invincibility, of course. Danica doesn’t mind making new friends, so she will allow you to hang out with her and bond to your heart’s content, even after your three wishes are granted.
