Isshu Island, or Isshu Institute is located 30 miles of the coast of Castelia City in the unova region. It is a low-security prison island that was originally owned by Watsda Isshu. Over the years, due to the prison population increasing, the island has undergone several extensions to accommodate the increase in inmates. It currently holds both human and pokémon prisoners of both genders and all ages serving time on the island for various crimes. [Art by the nixian]
